Netflix Favorites

If I’m being honest, I watch a lot of TV…maybe too much…and 2020 has not helped that at all! However, I thought it would be fun to share my favorites – from binge worthy to comedies to cheesy goodness!

Let’s goooooooooo

My number 1 binge-worthy show is Gilmore Girls. I’ve watched the series plus A Year in the Life mini-series too many times…but also not enough haha. Now, I just love to have this show on when I’m writing blogs or just want something on in the background.

Another one that is also good to have on in the background is Gossip Girl. Yep, I said it!

Next up, are my go-to comedies. New Girl has been a favorite of mine since it first aired. Nick, Schmidt and Winston are just the best! I’ve watched this show a few times and I still belly laugh at certain scenes. Of course, I had to throw in The Good Place. Kristen Bell is hilarious and as ridiculous as the show is, it’s equally awesome and funny. Last but definitely not least, Schitt’s Creek. I actually just finished the final season and dang it, I love it so much more for how they wrapped it all up. Ugh so so good! David and Alexis are my spirit animals!

I’m calling the next two shows cheesy goodness because no judging! First, Emily in Paris. This was one of those feel good, funny but over the top kind of shows. Makes me want to buy a whole new wardrobe and also go back to Paris!

That being said, it was a nice break from your standard TV show.

Second, Outer Banks. I started this when quarantine first began and honestly, I wasn’t sold on it. Then I watched another episode and ended up just watching the whole season. It was pretty entertaining but not a show that I would watch again. However, when season 2 comes out…I’ll probably end up watching it.

Next, dramatic goodness with a little humor. Money Heist came out in 2017 but the latest season aired last year. This show is jam packed with action, drama and just crazy talented writers, producers and actors. I highly recommend this one! Second is Bloodline – can I get a Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose for Coach Taylor?! If you know, you know! Anyways, this show is very well done. It for sure checks the box for drama! It’s a little slower than I would normally like but it’s a different kind of drama that I feel like you don’t see that often.

Last two shows, I’m putting under the devilish boys’ category. Recently I came across Lucifer and definitely binged it during quarantine. Tom Ellis is fantastic in the role and it’s just an overall fun show. Then we have You because you know I had to come full circle from Gossip Girl at the beginning of this blog! Dan my man, we should have figured that you’d go from spreading rumors and gathering information about people to a stalker who thinks he’s murdering in the name of love. It’s a creepy one for sure!

Drop a comment and let me know what shows you are loving right now? Always down to add to my list.

Now pass the bubbly,

Jess
