Top Five Skincare Products for Sensitive Skin
I have always been sensitive to certain products being used on my face, neck and chest. I remember getting my make-up trial done for my wedding and when I took it off that night, I was all broken out. Needless to say, we had to switch up the items used for the actual day!
I’ve always been a fan of clean products but they also tend to work the best for my sensitive skin. There has been a lot of trial and error with products over the years, but I’ve found a few that are golden! Side note: I’m not an expert in skincare so these are just my opinions.
1. Beautycounter’s Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream and Tripeptide Radiance Serum. Now I must admit I didn’t pay for this (thanks Mom) but I would 100% pay for it when it runs out!! Together they are under $175 which is fantastic for the quality! I started using this about a year ago and instantly loved it, but I’ve also been a huge BC fan for many years now. The quality of their products are great for sensitive skin! I use these specific products a few times a week – typically on the weekend nights as a special treat! I put the serum on first and then the cream. When I wake up in the morning my skin feels baby soft.
2. Tula’s day and night cream has hands down become my favorite product! It’s so light and keeps my face feeling refreshed all day. I use a small amount in the AM and PM and actually just got through my first container of it since January – and that’s using the travel size. It’s perfect!
3. Tula’s the cult classic purifying face cleanser is a gel cleanser which I really like. Before I started using Tula, I was gifted the discovery kit with this in it because I wanted to test a few of the products out first. Needless to say, I will definitely be purchasing the full size soon. I’ve typically only been using this at night but I love how it gets any leftover make-up off. The travel size is only $10 and the full size is $28 - both are steals if you ask me!
4. CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser is my go-to cleanser. I get it at Target and one bottle has lasted me almost a year, which is excellent because it’s only $10.99! Again, I don’t use a lot, but I like to use this product in the AM while I’m in the shower. I’ve even caught my husband using it because it’s just that good!
5. Tula’s rose glow and get it eye balm. It is a cooling and brightening balm and I am here to tell you that it works! I can instantly feel the cooling after applying. I do it a few times throughout the day. I also recently got the glow hour by Courtney Shields and after only a few uses, I’m already loving it!
As always, comment below and let me know if you’ve found any products that you are loving for sensitive skin!
Now pass the bubbly,
